Possible Formats for Proposals

  • Research/Ideas at work: These are abstract submissions that will be presented in concurrent sessions. These submissions should report on systematic investigations of relevant topics to establish facts and reach new conclusions. Submissions may also include literature reviews or theoretical and philosophical discussions that propose new ideas and knowledge related to understanding the transformations in agri-food extension, advisory services, and education. Typically, these submissions should focus on research that has already been completed. Ideas at Work: These submissions should document experiences in programming and/or fieldwork related to applied agricultural extension, education, or communications in a broad sense. Authors are encouraged to submit innovative ideas for educational programming models that demonstrate new approaches relevant to practitioners. These submissions can include partially completed research or capacity-building efforts, even if the results are not fully available at the time of submission.
