I am curious how the conference connects to your current work, career, and professional activities.
October 17, 2025 at 6:27 am #3906The conference is directly connected to both my professional and research activities. I currently serve as the director of a rural agricultural extension center in southern Iran, where I work closely with farming communities to promote sustainable practices and adaptive management under climate pressures. Alongside this role, my academic research focuses on evaluating adaptation interventions and assessing the risks of maladaptation in the agricultural sector. The conference provides a unique platform to exchange insights with experts who share similar concerns, explore innovative approaches to resilience-building, and strengthen professional connections with institutions—particularly in Canada—that support advanced research and capacity development in climate adaptation and agricultural sustainability.
October 17, 2025 at 9:37 pm #3918Thank you for sharing this — your work sounds incredibly impactful and deeply aligned with the goals of this conference. It’s inspiring to see how your professional and research efforts bridge practice and scholarship in such an important area. Your focus on adaptive management and addressing risks of maladaptation in agriculture is particularly relevant as many regions face similar climate pressures. I’m looking forward to learning from your experiences in Iran and exploring opportunities for collaboration on sustainable and resilient farming systems.
October 18, 2025 at 4:55 am #3930Thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement. I truly appreciate your perspective and completely agree that sharing experiences across regions can open new pathways for learning and innovation in sustainable and resilient agriculture. I look forward to continuing this dialogue and exchanging insights with you and other colleagues during the conference.
October 20, 2025 at 5:45 pm #3957The CAREE conference connects closely to my current work, as my research focuses on how digital extension services act as educational tools that support farmers’ learning and sustainable livelihood practices. CAREE’s emphasis on environmental education and community engagement aligns with my goal of understanding how technology can enhance knowledge sharing, empower rural communities, and promote environmentally responsible decision-making in agriculture.
October 24, 2025 at 11:18 pm #4203This conference aligns directly with my ongoing work in agricultural development and farmer capacity building in Ghana. As someone dedicated to promoting climate-resilient and sustainable farming through extension, advisory services, and organic inputs, the CAREE conference offers valuable insights into innovative rural advisory systems.
My research on farmers’ preparedness to cope with multiple climate change-related hazards complements the conference’s focus on strengthening agri-food and rural advisory education. The lessons, tools, and global best practices shared will help me refine local extension strategies, enhance farmer engagement, and promote climate-smart solutions tailored to Ghanaian realities.
