Let us know what you wish to achieve from the conference
October 17, 2025 at 6:18 am #3905Through this conference, I aim to engage with researchers and practitioners advancing climate adaptation, agricultural sustainability, and rural development. My current research focuses on evaluating adaptation interventions and assessing the risks of maladaptation in agricultural systems. I am particularly interested in building long-term collaborations with international colleagues and Canadian institutions that provide an enabling environment for research at this level. Beyond scholarly exchange, I hope to explore opportunities for postdoctoral or collaborative projects that connect science, policy, and practice to foster more effective and equitable climate adaptation pathways.
October 24, 2025 at 11:15 pm #4202Through this conference, I hope to deepen my understanding of innovative extension and advisory models that strengthen resilience in the agri-food sector. By engaging with global experts and sharing insights from my research on farmers’ preparedness to cope with multiple climate change-related hazards in Ghana, I aim to foster cross-learning that bridges African and Canadian experiences.
I also hope to build lasting professional networks, explore collaborative opportunities for research and practice, and gain knowledge that can be adapted to empower farming communities in Ghana. Ultimately, my goal is to return home equipped with fresh perspectives and practical tools to enhance climate adaptation, advisory delivery, and rural livelihoods.
October 26, 2025 at 9:58 pm #4248I am traveling here from New Zealand and looking to build my professional networks and collaborations with extension design practitioners, to learn if institutional influences and impacts are part of extension design and to learn more about the many ways impact is identified and measured through the stages of extension design, development and delivery. I am looking forward to finding new colleagues who I can share ideas, research, successes and learnings with.
